Total Performance, Historic Racing Sweden

Team Total Performance Sweden

This team was founded in August 2004 by three Swedes, Jan Olsson, Peter Kaiser and Ulf Hagman.

The intention was to have a two car team, one car for lease and one that Jan and Peter should race themselves. With the hospitality around to handle sponsors, drivers and guests.

The objective was to start racing the season of 2005 with the ultimate goal to take on the famous Nürburgring Nordschlife in August.

Jan and Peter, both two Ford Galaxie 427 1963 freaks had some base to start from. Jan already had one car that just needed some light modifications to be able to compete in the FIA historic racing class for Touring cars up to 1965. He also had in possession another 1963 Galaxie 427 although in parts. With an extensive network within motorsport Jan’s role became to attract sponsors and as well as finding drivers that would be interested in driving one of the two cars.

Peter had the experience of running a race team after several years of racing in Special Saloon and GT classes. With a workshop and several parts for these cars on the shelf hi became in charge to finalize the two cars for the following season.

Ulf with his extensive experience in organising events as well as being in a managing position for many years was appointed Team Manager as well as responsible for developing the hospitality concept.

From 2007 Ulf and Peter will manage this team together with the team members below, as a motorsport division under company Classic Racing.
